Expedition Challenge Weekend (1 of 2)
March 15 - March 17
Note: This is open to Scouts only. You need to attend both this weekend and the second weekend.
Weekend 1: Friday/Sunday: Expedition Training based at Eastcombe Scout Headquarters. Training is done whilst on accompanied hikes with experienced leaders and will include map reading, compass work, route planning, first aid, hike camping, cooking, kit check, highway & country code and emergency procedures.
In addition to completing the Expedition challenge badge the course will include 4 nights away and 4 hikes away to go towards the staged badges and covers navigator 2 and aspects of navigator 3.Sign up here: https://book.gscouts.org.uk/expedition24/signup
