April leads into our second YouShape award month. This time focusing all around the plan badge. For those who have seen our resources on the central badge, the plan badge begins building on the ideas from the young people and creating actionable steps to make their ideas reality.

Plan is precisely what is said on the tin. It’s all about coming up with ideas for the section. Whether that be sharing an idea in log chew for the leaders to turn into a full programme or actually writing that term’s programme and leading it to their fellow explorers. There is a whole range of approaches that can be taken. Planning should be fun and engaging for everyone so the fun never stops!

It’ll be great to hear how your young people are beginning to plan their programmes and how as leaders we support them in turning their plans into reality!
