Gloucestershire Scouts are looking for enthusiastic young adults to apply for the role of Deputy County Youth Commissioner. We have some exciting projects coming up and we are looking forward to expanding our Youth Commissioner team.
This role will give you the chance to work alongside the County Youth Commissioner and District Youth Commissioners to develop Youth Shaped Scouting in our County.
We are looking for 2-3 deputy County Youth Commissioners to take on different projects aimed at specific Scouting age groups. You will be developing these projects and working with adults across the County to implement them so that Scouting across Gloucestershire is even better than ever before!
There will also be the opportunity to develop yourself through training courses and broaden your network of contacts through events and meetings.
We are looking at a start date of 31st March for this role so to apply you must be under 25 on this date. We are also opening applications to older Explorers so you can apply if you will be 18 by 31st August (i.e. In your A-level year).
