Hi Everyone,
The Cotswold Youth Network are looking for volunteers to support a “Summer of Play” for children and young people and will be offering three fun & informative training sessions in the Cotswolds.
The training will be carried out by Ben Ward Director of World Jungle and will involve an introduction to youth & play work, fun activities to do with children and young people and some basics around safeguarding and managing risks.
You will then be given the opportunity to support professional youth & play workers who will be carrying out activities this summer for all children and young people who have been affected by sars-cov2.
The three FREE training sessions will take place on:
- Wed 28th July 4pm – 6pm ( The Naight Park, Bourton-on-the-Water )
- Thurs 29th July 12-2pm (Walnut Tree Field, Fairford)
- Sat 31st July morning 10am -12pm (St. Michaels Park, Cirencester )
The training will be inclusive and open to people of all ages and abilities and those with experience of working with young people and those completely new to this area.
