On Saturday 21st May 2022, a handful of Squirrel Scouts from 1st Dursley got their first taste of camp by visiting their groups Beaver camp. Currently, Squirrel Scouts are not able to have sleepovers or stay overnight at camp, although this is currently being piloted across the country.

During their visit, the Squirrels went totally royal by making their own crowns and shields. This was followed by a fun-filled lunch activity of making their own sandwiches and then rounding up the day by a story around the campfire (Zog was the chosen story).

Even though Squirrels are not able to do nights away, day visits to camps are just as important and those Squirrels attended had a fun-filled day and can look forward to a nights away when they move up to Beavers!
