Scouting is a worldwide organisation that provides opportunities for young people to develop and enables volunteer adults to develop skills through learning and support, which in turn can enhance CVs and professional roles too.
Cotswold Vale District is a proud and progressive group of Adults who support Scouting for over 700 Young People in a beautiful part of Gloucestershire, covering Berkeley, Cam, Dursley, Nailsworth, Sharpness, Slimbridge and Wotton under Edge.
To help build on pass successes we are looking to recruit a group of individuals to be part of District Lead Volunteer team. We believe that the District Lead Volunteer is best supported by a team of people who together can develop scouting, support adults, and help ensure young people get safe programmes that are full of fun and adventure.
Responsibilities can be separated based on skills, talents, and passions in order to create the best possible leadership team. Some key areas of responsibility include; supporting adult volunteers, supporting leaders to deliver engaging and fun programmes and activities, communications and media.
