May - Lead Badge
This badge is all about the young people taking responsibility for their programme. They can get involved in leading different activities and events, developing their skills.
For this badge, you need to complete at least one of the requirements for your section. You should make your own decisions about which requirement(s) you’d like to achieve.
Beavers:
- Help a new Beaver to feel welcome in your Colony.
- Lead an activity during a meeting with the help of a Young Leader or adult volunteer.
- Lead a Log Chew for your Colony.
- On a camp, lead a game, song, or activity with the help of a Young Leader or adult volunteer.
Cubs:
- Lead a session that welcomes new Cubs.
- Lead an entire session with the help of a Young Leader or adult volunteer.
- Lead a Pack Forum for your Pack.
- On camp, lead a day of activities and fun for your Pack with the help of a Young Leader or adult volunteer.
Scouts:
- Lead a session that shows older Cubs the best of Scouts.
- Lead a session for your Troop.
- Lead a Troop Forum for your section.
- Lead a one night camp with no adult volunteers. You’ll need a Nights Away Events Passport.
Explorers:
- Help a new adult volunteer complete their induction.
- Lead a session for another Explorer Unit.
- Lead a Unit Forum for your Unit.
- Lead a two night camp with no adult volunteers. You’ll need a Nights Away Events Passport.
