Outdoor Climbing Weekend – Explorers & Scouts
Are you a Scout or an Explorer, have done some climbing and want to do more?
We’re running a weekend of climbing in the Peak District, leaving Gloucestershire on the evening of Friday 2nd October and returning in the evening on Sunday 4th October. The weekend will be based in the Peak District, staying in a Scout hall/bunkhouse near Hathersage and climbing in the surrounding area.
This weekend is for Scouts and Explorers. You should have done some climbing before, so that you know you like it! Ideally you’ll have completed either the Scout climbing badge (with us or at The Warehouse/270 Climbing) or be working towards NICAS level 2 or above, but knowing you’ll enjoy spending the full weekend climbing is the most important thing. If you’re very experienced (NICAS 4 and above) then there’s the option to start developing some of the skills for lead climbing outdoors.
